Anthropocene versus anthropo-scenes

This position-paper discussed the relevance of the paradigm of the anthropocene from the perspective of social sciences. Focusing on the socio-ecological consequences of the implementation of a renewable energy market in Africa, we argue that the anthropocene is already becoming a reality. Then we suggest the need to rescale the understanding of global environmental changes at the level of what i suggest to describe as "anthropo-scenes".
