Cités cosmopolites : Sur les identités sociales des lycéens marseillais

Abstract : An analysis of the students relations to schools, to society and to themselves, on the basis of a survey conducted in 7 high schools of Marseille, with contrasting educational and social types. The outcomes show first a shared school culture; second differenciated socio-political identities according to social position, gender, age and school position, and ethnic origins; and third "plurivocal" categories: categorial identity contents are mainly variable; there is no mosaic effect. Various annexes give access to empirical material.
