Cittadinanza e identità come ethos e habitus
Résumé
Discussing the concept of citizenship and identity is never neutral as the political implications cross the boundaries of our stand and position on the world. Showing citizenship as the result of an institutional rite we define the behavior and rules of conduct within society, otherwise called the ethos. We may also demonstrate identity as the expression and argument of our internal placing during the process of socialisation, named habitus. Finally, by showing the overlapping of these two concepts within each individual group, and in order for them to recognise themselves as such, open their mind to their social behavior to keep intact their inner self. This article helps us understand that the durability of a symbolic and physical territory, where citizenship and identity are built, depends on the social capacity to include others and their interests. It is by this social practice that society has so far managed to survive and it is inevitably through this that they will continue to do so.
Discuter des concepts de citoyenneté et d’identité n’a jamais était neutre, tant les implications politiques de ceux-ci traversent nos prisent de positions et nos postures sur le monde. En montrant la citoyenneté comme la résultante d’un rite d’institution qui institue et qui définit les règles de conduites à adopter en société, c’est-à-dire l'ethos. En montrant aussi, l’identité comme l’expression et l’argument des dispositions intériorisées à travers le processus de socialisation, nommé l’habitus. En montrant finalement, l’imbrication produite par ces deux concepts au sein de chaque groupe d’individus. Nous dévoilons les mécanismes de conservation du territoire où s’édifient, se confèrent, se produisent et se reproduisent les arguments d’une représentation intégrée de l’unicité des groupes et de leurs intérêts. Cet article nous engage à comprendre que la pérennité d’un territoire symbolique et physique, là où se produit la construction de la citoyenneté et de l’identité, dépend de la capacité sociale à inclure l’Autre en intégrant ses intérêts. C’est par cette pratique sociale que les sociétés ont jusqu’aujourd’hui assuré leur conservation et c’est inéluctablement par cela même qu’elles continueront à le faire.
