The Liturgical Space of the Eucharist
Résumé
The Liturgy of the Eucharist is the most significant liturgy of Christianity, yet a lack of historical records has limited its spatial and visual reconstitution. This article discusses the problem of the separation of clergy and laity, the production of holiness, and the participation of the faithful, examining aspects of the liturgy such as the solea or the chorus . Because they postdate the very early period of Christianity, their development reflects changes in the Church.
