This presentation discusses the writings on Immigration that has been produced in Lebanon by social scientists. What are they? Which discipline has produced more studies in the domain of social sciences? What is the dominant paradigm which shapes the topics and the conceptual framework of these studies? Is there an overlap between the ideological concerns pertaining to immigration in Lebanon and the ‘scientific’ studies conducted on this subject?
