La simulation multi-agents, un outil de prévention des risques

Abstract : This communication will concern the use of agents-based simulations as a tool in the prevention of disaster risks for coastal territories. Through the definition of vulnerability and risk culture, we will focus on two contexts of disaster prevention: France and Japan, both for their coastal hazards, tsunamis and coastal waves. However, these countries are different in terms of prevention risks policies, especially in actions, population preparedness and risk knowledge. These interactions will provide some views of actions relevance on these territories. Agents-based system will be approached through these simulations could provide for risks policies decisions and population information. According to scenarios that could reveal some vulnerability and dysfunctions, this method will focus on actions towards the main issues of risks territories.
