Номинализация префиксных глаголов в манинка и бамана: различия в тональном поведении

Abstract : In Bambara, nominalization of prefixed verbs results in the tonal compacity of the forms. In Guinean Maninka, to the contrary, two models are used: in certain models, prefixes and verbal roots keep their tonal autonomy, while in some others, low tone appears as nominalization marker.
