L’évolution des mobilités spatiales face aux impératifs du développement durable : quelles stratégies d’adaptation des ménages résidant en ville intermédiaire ?

Abstract : In order to promote sustainable mobility, governments may consider two types of measures : tax carbon or tradable emissions quotas. How would inhabitants of intermediate cities adapt to these systems in comparison with inhabitants of large cities ? What changes in travel behaviour would be envisaged by them ? What kind of constraints and resources would be involved in their decision to change their travel behaviour ? This paper reports the findings of a qualitative survey conducted on a small sample of households in Annecy and Lyon.
