La discussion sur la priorité de la découverte n'a jamais e ´té totalement réglée (Yi, 2007) En revanche, davantage qu, Setlow et Hanawalt ont cherché a ` constituer un collectif et une spécialité autonome de recherche autour des mécanismes de réparation de l'ADN, en témoigne le volume de publications qu'ils ont consacré a ` la question
