Pour une géocritique des littératures en langues africaines

Abstract : Drawing on the concepts of networks, this article investigates the rise of African languages in todays'global literacy landscape. Contrary to Albert Memmi's belief in his 1957 Portrait du colonisé, idiomatic African works have spread transnationally instaed of within national boundaries. This article focuses on the expected linkage between a language - be it indigenous, native, local or national - and an area to prove just how strongly conductive to geographic disseminatin this proximity can be.
