Dialogus de Johanne Sohier alias Fede

Abstract : This general discussion of the historical evidence concerning the life and works of the 15th-century singer and composer Jean Sohier dit Fede (Johannes Sohier alias Fede), presenting several unknown documents, takes the form of a dialog between two characters debating whether or not the numerous references to people named Jean Sohier or the like, some of them puzzling, can refer to one and a same musician, who would then have been active during more than 40 years (1437 to 1481).
