Médier les récits de vie. Expérimentations de cartographies narratives et sensibles.

Abstract : While narrative methods are particularly interesting tools for considering individual and collective experiences, they also have significant deontological, ethical and interpretive limitations. Here we set out some of these limitations, based on two specific, comparative pieces of research. In order to overcome the ethical and methodological dilemmas experienced in these research contexts, the authors both turned to cartographic experimentation. What practical alternatives can we find, based on mapping, in order to establish respectful and creative relationships with the participants in our projects?
