Abstract : We investigate the relevance of community detection methods from a thematic and a geographic perspective when applied to a network of co-citations in newspapers international RSS flows. We compare the results of different state-of-the-art algorithms. We find that building a consensus from the possible decompositions found is important in order to capture a macro global organization as well as local phenomena.
