Recherches sur les pratiques enseignantes et relations chercheurs-praticiens

Abstract : This article focuses on the relationship between scholars and teachers when the latter are involved in research concerning their practice. It includes an analysis of the effects of this relationship on research results, as well as on the professional learnings which teachers can get from it. It is based on three field studies grounded in the same theoretical framework but involving different issues: understanding practices, solving a professional problem, and analysing the construction of a teaching routine over ten years of practice. Each study involved some degree of investment on the part of the teachers as well as a specific scholar-teacher relation. Analysing the latters’ specificities leads to a discussion of the effects of this relationship on the one hand, on the teaching practices under study, on the other, on the results of the research into these practices.
