Global maritime connectivity: a long-term perspective

This is a preliminary analysis of the evolution of the global maritime networks in the last 120 years. Based on untapped vessel movement data extracted from Lloyd's List archives, it presents the topology and individual trajectories of world ports, in the framework of the ERC World Seastems project.
