John Bunyan’s Confession of my Faith and Restoration Anabaptism

This article examines John Bunyan's work on baptism in the light of contemporary polemics and argues that, despite the Bedford congregation being open communion, Bunyan was considered as a Baptist and not as a Congregationalist in the controversies of the 1670s.
