Pour une linguistique d'intervention

Abstract : This paper looks over some of the moments in the world history when linguists intervened in the nonacademic sphere and focuses on linguists such as Graziadio Isaia Ascoli, Eliezer Ben-Yehuda, Manolis Triandaphyllidis and Knut Bergsland who knowingly implied themselves in researches having direct consequences on the linguistic conditions of the whole of societies or of some of their domains.
