Discordances chronologiques à Tours aux Ier et IIe s. apr. J.-C. : questions posées à l’archéologie et à la dendrochronologie

Abstract : The recent researches led on three different sites from Tours-Caesarodunum, (temple, public thermal baths and arrangements of Loire bank) revealed important and systematic chronological gap (approximately 50 years) between the datations supplied by the dendrochronology and the archaeology for the two first ones centuries AD. A first Round Table between archaeologists and dendrologues was able only to confirm the problem without bringing it to a satisfactory answer. The object of this article is to draw the attention of the researchers of both disciplines on a problem which seems to us to exceed the simple site of Tours.
