LA POPULATION DE LA FRANCE AU XXe SIÈCLE : UN BILAN EXTRAORDINAIREMENT CONTRASTÉ

Abstract : Demographic changes are never linear and can have dramatic ruptures. The history of the population of France in the twentieth century illustrates perfectly the teaching of demographic observation, particularly with its tripartite rate: sluggish, rebirth, and non-replacement of generations.
