Conduite de l'entretien auprès de jeunes scolaires: le cas de l'autoconfrontation dans une approche "orientée-activité"

Abstract : This paper explores the validity of self-confrontation interview with minor students in a qualitative research. This method is a means of activity analysis. The primary aim is to access the point of view of the subject for explication of embodied and tacit dimensions of the practice in physical education. The content analysis of 25 interviews with pupil 13 and 17 year old showed that student is not spontaneously able to explain what make sense for him in classroom. It is a dynamic and long process that must be encouraged and assisted by the researcher. Three steps were identified. The analysis highlighted that the self-confrontation interviews provide the possibility to construct new knowledge about the classroom experience. Finally, we detail the methodological requirements for building verbalization data about a situation experienced in classroom.
