Proposes that the romantic tragicomedy by Robert Greene , The Scottish History of James the Fourth (1590), is informed by an acquaintance with Ane Satyre of the Thrie Estaitis, by David Lyndsay (1552), and that by this intertextual bias Greene's play engages pressing current political and religious issues involving relations among England, Scotland and France.

Cette communication propose que la tragicomédie par Robert Greene, The Scottish History of James the Fourth (1590), montre l'influence de Ane Satyre of the Thrie Estaitis, by David Lyndsay (1552), et que par ce biais intertextuel la pièce de Greene commente des questions politiques et religieuses très sensibles à l'époque portant sur les relations entre l'Angleterre, l'Ecosse et la France.
