Usage des outils informatiques et des plateformes d'enseignement par les étudiants : le rôle du stéréotype de genre

Abstract : At a time where teaching platforms are massively introduced in French universities, this study is aimed at evaluating the way in which female and male students use computer tools/technology in general and teaching platforms in particular, taking into account the role that the gender stereotype favoring boys in information technology might play. A questionnaire was administered twice to students: at the beginning and at the end of their college year. Results show that this gender stereotype, when endorsed by female students, influences their attitudes towards and use of these tools.
