De l'horizon borné à l'horizon ouvert

Abstract : Geography is entirely based on a fixed space of representation as required by the map. Movement is, therefore, conceived as a change of place, not far from a crisis. However, mobility is producing the organization of space. This text while campaigning for a reversal of the sedentary paradigm of geography, placing the movement first in fact. It follows an epistemological revision concerning the ontology of geographic objects, and a methodological recovery is discussed as research programs useful in deciphering the world. The proposal for the mobile space opens this perspective.
