Pédagogie active et enseignement de la biodiversité par la modélisation d'accompagnement

Abstract : Issues related to biodiversity are based on multidisciplinary knowledge where uncertainty and controversy take place. Initiating pupils or students to the complexity of decision processes in an uncertain environment is a promissory way to get them better concerned with ecocitizenship and sustainable development. We analyze how to adapt and transfer to education a participatory modeling approach developed by researchers to deal with biodiversity management issues. Three aspects of the didactic problems linked with this transfer are discussed: introducing problematic issues in education, transferring scientific knowledge in a didactical way, and elaborating didactical role-playing games.
