This chapter shows in what ways adverbials impact on the conceptual distinctions boundedness-unboundedness and telicity-atelicity. Special attention is given to time-position adverbials and adverbials of duration. It is shown that the informational status of the adverbial (given or new) affects the categorization of sentences with adverbials as (un)bounded and (a)telic.
