Quand la France se penche sur sa politique d'immigration : le rapport Mazeaud [When France leans on its immigration policy: the Mazeaud report]
Abstract : In 2007, the new President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy, created a new ministry, with a title unheard of in the history of France, that of "immigration, integration, national identity and solidarity development". In February 2008, this ministry decided to set up a "Commission on the constitutional framework of the new immigration policy". This text presents the nature of the Commission and the scope of its work before examining its responses.
