Histoire et interprétation : le principe renaissance

Abstract : This paper aims to show how Cassirers approach of history can be read in the perspective of a contribution of the philosophy of symbolic forms to reflexive and critical hermeneutics. On one hand, understanding and interpretation are central in each symbolic form; on the other hand, historical understanding, in which the principle Renaissance who joins receptivity and creative spontaneity is essential, figures a paradigma of the knowledge of symbolic forms.
