L'ontologie CIDOC CRM appliquée aux objets du patrimoine antique

Abstract : CIDOC CRM : Ontology of Cultural Heritage Information applied to Ancient Objects. Ancient objects, material collected on archaeological sites or displayed by museums, carry information (type and material, decoration, location, etc.) and are subject to study (analysis, reproduction, publication, etc.). The CIDOC CRM is an ontology intended to facilitate the integration, mediation and interchange of cultural heritage information. More than the Dublin Core this standard allows the ability to structure the contextual information about the "life" of a complex object (composite, archaeological...) and to build a typology, a taxonomy. Associated with other documentary and technical standards, it optimizes the integration of this kind of knowledge into the Semantic Web and the Linked Data.
