Les "Procès". Un genre littéraire de l'Égypte ancienne.
Résumé
From a close examination of the titles of several literary works from Pharaonic Egypt (The Debate Between a Man and His Soul, the Contendings of Horus and Seth, the fable of Body and Head, the Judgement between Wine and Bier, the Blinding of Truth by Falsehood), we can deduce the existence of a genuine literary genre, the "trials". Those literary compositions have to be renamed accordingly, and compared to the Mesopotamian and Akkadian "Debate Poems".
