Les bracelets en verre de Nages, Gard (Les Castels, fouilles 1958-1981)

Abstract : The stratigraphy from Nages, an oppidum settled during the 3rd-Ist c. BC, provides a unique opportunity to set up the chronology of the glass bracelets produced and worn during this very period in Western Europe. Giving the complete inventory of these objects discovered during the excavations, this article allows to appreciate the function of glass bracelets in the female traditional dress of this period, but also to better place the region within the preroman trade networks.
