S'attacher à la politique. Carrières de jeunes socialistes professionnels : Carrières de jeunes socialistes professionnels

Abstract : Getting Attached to Politics. Careers of Young Professional Socialists This article examines the careers of members of the Mouvement des jeunes socialistes in the mid-2000s, with an interactionist sociology of socialization perspective. Through the details of some cases, it first shows how, for the most committed, activism gradually unifies all practices. This allows to understand their attachment, in a both moral and binding meaning, to politics as an occupation, while acknowledging its ambiguities. The article thus details in a second part the respondents' complex relation with their professionalization in politics.
