Façonnage expérimental de récipients en stéatite.

Abstract : As we have discovered many soapstone fragments of bowls on the site of Le Rocher de la Caille (Loire), we wanted to copy them in order to find the manufacturing method which was employed. The working traces we can see on Magdalenian samples are so clear that it was important to recover the gestures made by the Magdalenian and to connect the lithic industry found on the site with the manufacturing of these small containers.
