A pigment-processing slab from La Crozo de Gentillo (or La Grotte de Combe-Cullier, Commune de Lacave (Lot).

Abstract : Presentation of a plaquette found in the Logan Museum of Anthropology at Beloit College (Wisconsin). From the site of La Crozo de Gentillo (or Grotte de Combe-Cullier, Lot). This sandstone slab shows numerous traces indication a use as a working platform or a hand-held active implement for the preparation of pigments.
