The chapter 5 presents the situation of the sub-Saharan migration in France and its evolution during the last decades. It describes the influence of the French migration regime on the changes in African migration. It analyzes the evolution of African families living in France and the transformation of identities among migrants of the first and second generation.

Ce chapitre 5 présente l'évolution de la population immigrée d'Afrique sub-saharienne en France au cours des dernières décennies. Il décrit l'influence de la politique française d'immigration sur ces changements et les transformations de la famille africiane et l'évolution de l'identité des migrants de première et seconde génération.
