F0 Declination in French : Broadcast News versus spontaneous speech.

This study compares F0 declination in French from two kinds of corpora : Broadcast News speech and spontaneous speech. Results show differences in several aspects of declination line such as overall slope, top line fluctuations and variations according to sentence length The relationship between slope and utterance length for spontaneous speech corpus reveals a ''soft" planning and F0 declination.
