In the second part of this paper which leans on the analysis of the correspondence between Leibniz and Volder ( 1698-1706 ), we shall try to show how the Dynamics proposes a new understanding of the substance. We would like, especially, to establish, how the action, in its ambivalence, can be seized as a perception expressing degrees of reality. It is then possible to bring to light a new meaning of the idea of science.
