Innovations techniques et savoirs organisationnels dans les transports publics. Existe-t-il une exemplarité des villes du Rhin supérieur ?

Abstract : The Upper Rhine towns (Karlsruhe, Strasbourg, Friburg im Brisgau, Mulhouse and Basel), are well known in France and around Europe for implementing innovative methods in public transportation systems. Each of them has succeeded in introducing a new technology or at least new methods to manage public transport so that specialists consider the whole region as a laboratory for innovative mobility. In what sense then has the geographic or cultural proximity played a significant role in such a process ? May one speaks about a "Upper Rhine Innovation Model". ? Several interviews with local experts allow us to establish more firmly choices and aims of possible technical and organizational transfers
