Entre vulgarisation et enseignement des sciences à l'école primaire : Le cas d'une animation scientifique auprès d'élèves de Guyane dans le cadre de l'opération " L'Espace au fil du fleuve "

Abstract : Abstract : This paper presents the results of research conducted in the framework of a " mediated ", scientific educational program in an elementary school in French Guyana, during the program called " Space along the river ". Among other things, the originality of this project was linked to each partnered educational team which was composed of one teacher specially trained for the event and a scientific facilitator from the non-profit sector. The results from observations made of a class of pupils aged seven, seem to show that this kind of " mediated ", scientific situation, which could be qualified as teaching or as an effort in popularization, are important due the complementary roles of the educators and, in particular, the way they had to consider and to manage the particular situation.
