Le "bon sens", un piège en Sciences Humaines ?

Abstract : During the 1960s-1980s, Social Sciences and particularly geography and planning, have seen the develoment of models. Since then, their attraction has declined in France. Quite recently, powerful movements, with ideological motives, have assailed Science and its methods. This paper shows, with simple examples, the necessity of modeling in order to understand processes and to act eventually to change them.
