Pour une datation triumvirale du mausolée des Iulii à Glanum

Abstract : The generally admitted dating for the Glanum mausoleum - that is, the beginning of Augustus' reign - is problematic from a historical and stylistic point of view ; the late 40s Bc, or the early 30s Bc, are defended here. This position, grounded on architectural decor, statuary, epigraphy and institutions of the oppidum Latinum, offers a more clear reading of the history of a local family of notables, an easier interpretation of statuary, figurative reliefs and dedication, and restores the mausoleum as an unequivocal chronological pivot in the history of architectural decor in the Provincia
