Critères changeants d'authenticité

Abstract : From a corpus of about 30 portraits, this article presents the contemporary iconography of Chinggis Khan in Mongolia, Inner Mongolia and Buryatia. It shows that the iconographical variations reflect different identity and political stakes according to the peoples who claim his heritage.
