Les conséquences de la dépathologisation des identifications de genre trans

Abstract : The lack of scientific evidence, changing of gender norms and the increasing anti-discrimination rights, lead to consider transgender identification as non-pathological, like it was the case for homosexuality. However, transgender identification is a difficult process which challenges the personal well being\; that is why the IDC should justify medical prescriptions and not concerning transgender identification per se, but regarding its effects.
