A LA RECHERCHE DE L'AGENT MASQUE : L'AGENTIVITE IMPLICITE

Abstract : It is sometimes useless, undesirable or impossible to identify the agent of a process. For different reasons - obviousness, politics, ignorance - the thematization of another participant prevails over the rhematization of the agent. Such is the subject of the following paper whose corpus is English-speaking press articles and headlines where the agent's clandestineness is common.
