Coordination et parataxe en capverdien moderne (dialecte santiagais ou badiais)

Abstract : This article, based on the thorough scrutiny of a corpus of spontaneous texts, deals with the question of clause-coordination in Santiaguense Capeverdean (or Badew). Much attention has been paid herein to the case of additive coordination, for which Badew generally does not display any overt marker : such a peculiarity brings us to the very core of the issues raised by the interpretation of parataxis.
