La noblesse et la Ligue : historiographie et pistes de recherche

Abstract : For a long time, nobility has not been a topic for the historians of the League. But since the 1980s, it went from being a marginal theme to occupying a central position in the investigation of the subject turning the historiographical landscape into a very rich one. This article suggests assessing it and offering research perspectives, according to three axes : the roots of commitment (or neutrality), the modalities of revolt, and finally the impact of wars on the group.
