Expertise interactionnelle, expérience locale et connaissance tacite : Le cas des signalements de clusters de cancers

Abstract : The paper is based on the study of three reports of clusters of cancers in France (Saint-Cyr-L'École, Vincennes, Nivillac) in which industrial settings are incriminated. It focused on the cognitive dimensions of the expertise which is claimed by local actors. It uses the categories of SEE (Studies of expertise and experience) proposed by Collins and Evans in order to discuss the contribution of local expertise to public decision. It considers the tacit knowledge involved in this local expertise.
