Argumentation et valeurs : analyse de la compétence politique ordinaire à travers une question ouverte

Abstract : The purpose of this paper is to highlight rhetorical ability of laymen about an important issue of the public debate (the french nuclear program). A lexicometric analysis of answers to an open question, which justify a first answer, identifies some types of arguments. It can also be shown that it's possible to rebuild a rhetorical syllogism (enthymem) and thus to discover the value presupposed by reasoning.
