La granulation en Méditerranée orientale à l'âge du Bronze

Abstract : The gold jewellery was considered during the IIIrd millennium in the whole Eastern Mediterranean as a luxury craft which was usually controlled by elites to affirm their power. As a way for exchange and commercial relations, the jewels had been moved in this region, thus spreading iconographic and stylistic themes as well as knowledges and techniques like the granulation. In this work, we mainly study the evolution of the granulation processes, its use and its diffusion in the Eastern Mediterranean through some revealing examples.
