Le marquage des personnes en émérillon (tupi-guarani) : un système d'accord hiérarchique

Abstract : This article focuses on the characterisation of the agreement system in Emérillon, through the study of the distribution of the person markers on the predicate. Through her presentation of the agreement system of this Tupi-Guarani language, the author shows the importance of the person hierarchy in this system. Two points are then developed: the question of hierarchization (person hierarchy and semantic roles hierarchies), and the hypothesis of analysing this system as an "inverse system". After dismissing this hypothesis, the author concludes by classifying this person marking system within the hierarchical systems.
