Teachers'use of semiotic registers

Résumé

In order to examine wether the form of data-presentation may influence success in solving a given problem, we are interested in the teacherrs' use of semiotic registers. We are particulary concerned to see if 8 or 9 year old children are confronted in their classrooms with different semiotic regisers and if the teachers are aware of this confrontation in the way they work with their pupils.
